The last few days

Back in London!

I barely slept the night before I left, and got up early to take the buses to the airport, so I was pretty pooped. I slept a bit on the flight, and downed a cuppa joe as soon as I arrived at Stansted and picked up my luggage, so I felt pretty awake after that.
I got home to my babies and my housemates, and after a little relaxing and some cuddling with the rat babes, Annie and I left to go to Vauxhall for Lucy's birthday dinner.
It was at a really lovely little café/restaurant hidden in Vauxhall, with a really nice atmosphere and delicious vegan food! It was super nice.

I slept for 12,5 hours after this night, and was pretty knackered the day after!

On Saturday I got up super early (for a Saturday, at least) and made my way to Amersham to go see Phil and Hayley! I went to Hayley's custom tattoo studio, Self Preservation, and we all chatted a bit and caught up, and Phil did an amazingly awesome tattoo on the back of my calf. He is still practicing so I got it for cheap too! Fuck yes!
I am so happy with it and he did a great job. Not gonna lie though, it hurt like a motherbitch the last 45 minutes (it took about 6 hours).
But it was totally worth it and Phil did a great ass job. Go check his blog out!

Today I woke up at 8.30am and made some phone calls and stuff, still trying to figure out and sorting stuff out.
I passed out again on the bed at about 10.30am. Haha. But I woke up a bit later and skyped with my dear hubby, had some much needed coffee and a hummus sandwich, before getting ready to go in to Kingston to see Annie's exhibition.
She had a performance piece up and running on the projector, and it was really amazing. It was so strong and touching, I wish I could share the video. Maybe some time soon!

Loads of love,
Malin

Candles and niceness

Since you last heard from me I've been a bit of a busy bee again. But I've also made sure to relax so my body won't freak out.

Annie and I went to Lucy and Danni's place Thursday night, and it was so nice seeing them and the rest of the girls I've missed again! We talked and talked, laughed, had some vegan tapas stuffs, listened to music and cuddled with Danni's lovely dog Squa. It was awesome!

I went to London Tattoo Convention with Nina on Friday, we pretty much spent the while day there, walking around, checking out tattoo artists, looking at merch, visiting the different stalls and shops, watching sideshows and gigs and drinking coffee! It was really nice. And left me really knackered.

I bought some nice stuff at the convention; an awesome tote bag designed by Thomas Hooper, a cheap corset from Burleska, a pair of plugs, a pair of spirals, a segment ring for my septum and some nice oil for my lobes.

Today I've spent the daystarting to sort out my room, but mostly hanging out with Annie watching silly Norwegian comedy shows, drinking more coffee, chatting and laughing.
And I spent the evening with all the wonderful ladies I live with between candles. So nice.

Plus I am of course super duper mega excited about my dearest man coming in Thursday! YES!

Peace & love,
Malin

Lazyness

Alright, so I've been kinda really lazy lately, as I've been pretty exhausted and kinda apathetic.
Sorry about that!

I'll tell you a bit about the few things I actually have done though.

Daniel's packages with his records, CDs and movies came on the door, and when I was opening them the closest thing I could find to use to open them was a knitting needle. Of course I managed to cut myself on this knitting needle, and got a small cut wound. And when heating up a bowl of soup a little while after, I managed to burn myself on that, on the exact same spot as the cut.
So this resulted in this:

Ouchie.

I've put up Daniel's stuff on the shelf and all, together with some of mine.

I also went to grocery shopping on an empty stomach the other day, and ended up with loads of stuff I really wanted right there and then.
Like this soy vanilla milkshake (that turned out to be less tasty than I had imagined and hoped):

I also went out to The Fighting Cocks with Madelén, Natalie, Bailey, John and Eva on Saturday night, which was so so nice! It was good to hang out again, it's been a while.
I got a bit dolled up with some lipstick.

I did some practice with some proper stick and poke equipment as well, as I really want to start getting into the body modification industry. I'm pretty happy with the result!

I've had more cuddle time with my rats:

And I had some delicious Chinese take out. Mushroom chop suey with tofyu and crispy seaweed. Yumsies!

Tomorrow I'm heading back to London Tattoo to work there for the rest of the week! I'm filling in for Kendra again and it'll be nice to see everyone.

And next week uni starts!

Love,
Malin

Busy week over

So, another busy week over for now. Yesterday was my last day of filling in for Kendra at London Tattoo in Angel.
I've had a great week, I've really enjoyed working there, even though it's been both stressful and boring a few times! But it's been so nice working with those great artists, and it was a really laid back job I could easily imagine doing full time sometime.
It's also inspired me even more to try to get into the body modification business myself.

I passed out black last night, and I slept for ages! Woke up at 11, and fell asleep again for a nap a few hours later, haha. Sundays are meant for relaxing, and that's just what I've been doing.
Tomorrow I'll start moving my stuff down to the room downstairs, and start redecorating with the new furniture I bought at Kingston community furniture.
Our new housemate, Nina, is moving in next week!
I'm looking forward, she's a really great girl.

And even better, it's now under a month till my man is moving in! YES!

Best wishes,
Malin
