Sweets

Today we treated ourselves to some sweets.

A piece of apple cake, and raspberry cake. And some chocolate: white chocolate with cherries, and rice milk chocolate with almonds.

Yummy!

We also went to the dog park and played for a while. And of course cuddled.

Tiny bed

Another few days have passed. Now that school have started, I feel my time sort of shrinking. It's going by faster, and even though I haven't gotten properly into everything yet, it feels like I have much less of it.
But I'm eager and motivated to learn, so I'm ready for the 40 hours of studying and homework a week!

Other than working on school-stuff and attending online class meetings, I've run a bunch of errands the last few days. I got myself a new pair of shoes for autumn, a super quality bra (hopefully), and some thicker tights to keep me warm. You see, autumn really has come to Copenhagen!

We also got Atlas a mental exercise toy (that he doesn't understand at all - so far...), and a comfy bed just for him! So far he still prefers sleeping/cuddling as close to me as possible on the couch, but then again he's not used to having a bed just for him (other than a big pile of comfy blankets). He likes it, though.

Daniel even tried to squeeze in, but it turned out to be too small for them both...

I love my silly guys.

Tomorrow it's time for more school work, another class meeting, and some trip planning for a coming trip to Norway in October with my dear mother-in-law who's coming to visit us! Exciting!

Mate, puppy, haul and cupcake

The last few days I've...

Had some club mate.
Cuddled, played and walked with this sleepy butt.
Brought home a big haul of leftover fruit and vegetables (yay pomegranate!).
Gone to a street market in our neighbor street in the rain, and bought this little and very delicious cupcake that I shared with Daniel during his break.

This last week

This last week has been both busy and relaxed, and has gone by quite fast.

I've made post-very-hard-and-long-workday-pizza for a very tired hubby and myself.

Autumn arrived very suddenly (and way too early if you asked me, although Daniel thinks it's not come to stay). This whole week has been rainy, gray and cold.

I made and we ate this (thai coconut curry).

I took pictures of flowers.

And mushrooms.

We walked in the park.

And today it was officially back to school! I had my first lecture back, an introduction to the classes I'm taking this year.

And after the lecture, Daniel made and we ate this (lasagna with a simple salad and a garlic baguette).

Other than this,  I've just relaxed, ran errands, prepared for school, drawn, cuddled, watched House and stayed warm.
It's back to work tomorrow though, so it's time for bed real soon!

City centre trip and artichokes

Monday afternoon, after Sondre and Michelle took their cab to take their ferry back, we decided to go to the city centre of Copenhagen to do some errands (but mainly go to the market and get some artichokes). We decided to try something new (to me, at least) with our dinner, something Daniel really likes: steamed artichokes with a garlic margarine dipping sauce.
We walked around for a bit, did a few other errands, got some caffeine in our bodies and saw some cool stuff.

We also got some delicious garlic infused olive oil at the market/Torvehallerne.

On the way back we walked through Assistentens cemetery, which was in full bloom! We haven't walked through for a while, so we were astonished when we came in. So pretty.

Daniel prepared the artichokes and the dipping sauce, and I heated up some leftover risotto from the night before.

It was so darn delicious.

Malin

Flowers, dinner, dog park

I spent half of yesterday working, while Daniel, Michelle and Sondre slept in before going out and about in the streets of Copenhagen.
They had done a little bit of shopping, and when they got back a bit after me, they brought delicious produce and some beautiful flowers that Michelle picked out, amongst others.

They're accompanying the botanical garden jars, some dried branch flowers and a tiny new vase that Daniel got, on our pretty little hutch.

I took an after work nap while Daniel prepared dinner, and we all ate ourselves very full on absoutely delicious taco. Nom!

After that we played some carcassonne, some nutz, and some hearts. All in all a very good evening in extremely good company!

Today we've all been relaxing and taking it easy. We dedicated some time to Atlas and took him to the dog park so he hopefully could meet some friends to run around with. There wasn't too much running since there weren't too many dogs there, and Atlas is kind of boring, but he did get some energy out.

Tonight I'm making dinner, and we'll probably (definitely) be playing some more games together. Yay!
I love having Michelle and Sondre around, I miss them so much when they're far away, so it's really really good to have them here.

Loads of love,
Malin

Mate Mate, sun and rain

Today has been a somewhat boring Sunday.
Daniel's been working all day, so it's just been Atlas and me.
Going for walks, doing dishes, going for walks, doing some grocery shopping, going for walks, and cooking.
Yes, we've been going for a lot of walks today.
I also popped by Daniel's work for a little pick-me-up.

Since the doctor told me to stay off the coffee for now, because of me recent stomach problems, I wanted to try something different that is also caffeinated and might help wake me up a little bit when I need it. This Mate Mate was pretty tasty and helped a little bit!
In this photo it is accompanied by a little ginseng root that Daniel and I bought on his sober birthday!
And that is of course accompanied by most of our other cacti and succulents.

Otherwise, the sun has been shining, but oh boy has it been humid and sticky in the air.
Until about half an hour ago, when we were surprised by thunder rumbling loudly, and 30 seconds after it starter to pour. A lot.

Most of the people living in the apartments around us peeked their heads out of their windows.
Some even ran outside to stand in the pouring rain!

It's still going!

Loads of love,
Malin

Some days

The last few days we've both been working, and I've been feeling pretty tired.
Now I have three days off in a row, a first in a while!

We've also been eating pay day pizza (again, Daniel's pay day this time).

We got a tiny package in the mail, with Atlas' new harness inside!

It's awesome, fits him so well and is much more suitable for iggies' weird body shape.

We've gone on tons of walks, mostly in nice weather, and enjoyed some views in the local city garden in the street next to ours.

I've eaten tasty fruits.

And treats from Daniel's work.

I'm spending the evening watching House, M.D. with Atlas while waiting for Daniel to get home so we can have some dinner together!

Loads of love,
Malin
