Norway day weekend

The 17th of May is Norway's national day/constitution day, and in Norway that means that all over the country, there's one big celebration! The school's march in the morning, with marching bands, flags and our traditional outfits, and in the afternoon, clubs, organizations and similar stuff march as well.
Tons and tons of people are out, looking at the marches, and eating ice cream and hot dogs.
But we had a pretty calm and relaxed day here in Copenhagen, without much fuzz.
I know there are a lot of Norwegians celebrating here too, throwing together dinners and parties and happenings, but we took it easy.
We had our friend Thea over that whole weekend, and focused on enjoying ourselves and taking it easy instead. We ate some pretty tasty food and talked and relaxed.

On the 17th of May we decided to go get some vegan junk food at the little take away place called Astrid och Aporna Spiseri that just opened down our street, and we enjoyed it on the grass, the bright sunlight in the park. Which was super nice!

Atlas sporting a "Norwegian" sweater, with a typical Norwegian pattern and the colors of the flag!

And later in the afternoon we had some real tasty ice cream from a tiny little ice cream shop right around the corner from the park. Nom!

The rest of the weekend we just hung out, did a little shopping, and enjoyed each others company.

Thea spotted a tree with eyes!
Looking forward to more visits!

Loads of love,
Malin
