Birthdaygift: Bruce 2

The 10th of May was Daniel's birthday, and even though he wasn't feeling well and the weather sucked, I tried to make the best out of it for him. He was too sick for breakfast and going out, so he slept in, relaxed, and took it easy. He got to open his presents, which he really liked, and I made him a really tasty birthday pizza, that we devoured before having some delicious mango ice cream.
One of his gifts was Bruce 2. Bruce is a beautiful succulent that I bought on Daniel's birthday, and he is named Bruce 2 because our first succulent (Bruce 1), died a little while ago for unknown reasons (Daniel blames Atlas for not loving him enough). But Bruce 2 is doing fine, he is gorgeous and even blossoming! Just look at him:

He is accompanied by our two tiny Christiania-succulents, in our (now very warm) window:

And they're all good friends.

Over to something completely unrelated! Our vegan junk food treats yesterday: cinnamon rolls from the local organic bakery. Oh my gosh, they are so delicious!

Just had to brag a little bit.

Now it's time for a tasty dinner, mushroom and asparagus risotto, which I'm pretty exchited about as I love asparagus and we never have it! Yum!
