Happy sobriety birthday!

Today is a great day! It's Daniel's 10 year sobriety anniversary.
10 years ago he became sober, I am incredibly proud of him and so grateful.
He is my everything and I am so happy he made that decision a whole decade ago, so that we could live together so happily today.

I ran out right after we got up, and bought him some treats while he was walking Atlas.
I always make him a special, tasty breakfast for his sobriety birthdays, I try to spoil him a little bit.
Today I got him some cinnamon rolls from the local organic bakery, some cherries and some Oreos.
He loves his sweet stuff!

He was pretty darn happy with his breakfast.

It's been super sunny and very warm today as well, Atlas has been trying to sunbathe.

After enjoying some nice breakfast, we went to a charming little store right around the corner from us to look at some plants. Daniel got to pick out a few tiny ones. They're pretty cute.

Then we went and got a super tasty hot dog each at Daniel's work, and enjoyed them in the park, before heading to the dog park to let Atlas run around and play with some other dogs.
Now it's time for some late dinner!

Also, on a completely different note, today it has been three years since the horrible massacre happened at Utøya and in Oslo in Norway.
A disgusting man who does not deserved to be remembered by his name killed 8 people when bombing the executive government quarter in Oslo, and another 69 while shooting at a summer camp hosted by one of the political parties of Norway at Utøya.
We will always remember what happened, and our sympathy will forever be with the victims.
As an acquaintance of mine said so well: Never forget that love is bigger.

Picture from the memorial march in Oslo in 2011, 200 000 people came to show sympathy for the victims. Picture from the Daily Mail.

Loads of love,
Malin
